Backup Power Generation
Matrix has backup diesel/electric power generation for the entire laboratory, not just critical systems. When the power grid fails, Matrix remains fully functional, getting your projects completed on time.
Uninterrupted Power Supply
All LC/MS instrumentation and all data server equipment are on Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems. This is a critical instrument maintenance item. Power quality is maintained at the highest level, enhancing instrument performance and reducing down-time.
Safety
Matrix adheres to strict safety procedures. The laboratory environment is configured with special attention to safety. Exposure to hazardous chemicals is kept to a minimum by 100% outside makeup air, use of fume hoods where solvents are used, venting of instruments into the fume exhaust ductwork and by providing plenty of workspace for laboratory personnel.
Sample Storage
The safety of our Client’s samples is our highest priority. Samples are stored in fully qualified, GLP compliant refrigerators and freezers. Alarm and dial-out functions are maintained 24/7. Backup power generation ensures the power is never cut off for more than 15 seconds. Enough dry ice is kept on-hand for backup in case of storage unit failure.
